do most normies take stimulants/drugs to be more productive?

i noticed this with alot of normies ive been around, one in particular was a former friend who had 2 jobs & 2 side hustles and would be out and about grinding all day and only home at night to sleep, then wake up at 5am rinse and repeat. His personality has always been upbeat, talks loud and fast. But i never thought much of it, he had to be taking something. I cant even imagine the motivation to do all that, it does not seem natural to be that ambitious. Unless he is extremely disciplined which I doubt

could be, but personally I dissociate a lot when I have work to do and lose awareness of how tired I am
