Do wisdom teeth extractions really affect the face?

Dentist wants to remove my 2 lower wisdom teeth and then put braces on me. Will that make my airways narrower? I also have bruxism and tmj issues, my jaw shifts to the right when opening my mouth, I also have an open bite. I am 15
