No, and for some reason they were only barely visible when I got DEXA scanned at 10% bf back in November (around the time my avi was taken):


Wondering if sodium and or carbs cause massive water retention in me.

I’ve had visible abs since i was 10 since I need to eat an egregious amount to put on fat cause of my weirdly fast metabolism, I can legit eat 3000cals while being sedentary for a week and there would be no visible fat gain. Many people would say they’re jealous but im pretty sure its why I hit puberty late and how I’m still growing in my 20’s :unsure:

Most likely a combo of
a) you just have unlucky fat storage genetics aka stomach fat is the last to go as you lose body fat
b) the dexa reading was a little bit off, there’s basically no test for body fat that’s actually that reliably precise. Vitruvian physique has a good video breaking this down in further detail

Would guess that you were more like 12-13 but if you got down 3 more percent you would have very visible abs. That’s the other thing with fat storage like that, once that fat starts coming off it will pretty much all come off at once I.e. at 12% no abs and at 10% abs are popping

Visble abs are the first thing a looksmaxxer should get. Under 16% BF is where you'll have some, if not then what the fuck are you doing
