Do you keep the hair gained from minoxidil by using finasteride?

One thing I never understood about minoxidil and fin, If you have a NW2 and manage to return to a NW1 through minoxidil and then start using finasteride and quit using minoxidil, will fin keep you from losing your NW1 that you gained from minoxidil? (Assuming you respond well to fin)

Hair grow from minoxidil will be minox-dependant permanently while fin lower your DHT which kills ur hair follicle.
