Do you really need to be that attractive to become a model?

If you watch the start of this video for a bit and at around the 4:42 mark you can see that some of these models look like complete normies while some others are relatively attractive but nothing crazy.They seem like they are at average height or above average height in general as well.Sure you might need to be really good looking to become a top model but your average model doesn't seem to be particularly attractive.
