Hypothetically speaking, would going to the gym slow the rate of height growth down since your bodys resources go mostly to repairing the muscles and maybe micro fractures?

My dad used to say that and that’s why I didn’t go to the gym till now, I don’t think it has a correlation tho most people who started young are normal height just with better bodies

Depends on the excercise. I have read a research (I found it by using Google Scholar) in which there were 3 groups. People in 1st were running, 2 were running and lifting, 3 were lifting only. And the lifting has lowered HGH in rest, as I remember corrected, however excercise like back squats boost HGH

The HGH boost is almost zero...

imo it might stunt growth unless u take an ai cuz its pretty common knowledge that ur T raises after lifting for a while which means ur E also raises which could prematurely close ur grwoth plates

yeah thats what i was thinking, add to that the possibility of the weightlifting sapping resources that could be used to grow in height. i dont want to because ill lose my gains but shit, i might have to drop the gym for a bit, we´ll see what ill do.
