I feel like people underestimate how much being treated ugly growing up changes the way you think and act. If you spent years getting ignored laughed at or never getting attention from girls it feels like your brain gets wired different even after you start improving yourself. I can tell people who were always good looking grew up with way more confidence naturally while some of us had to learn everything later. Do you think looks during childhood and early teens permanently affect confidence and social skills or can someone fully rebuild themselves after improving their appearance and mindset later on
