Does getting wisdom teeth removed actually affect your face?

Context: I'm 17 but I'm pretty sure I'm about done growing completely face wise. They said they need to remove I think it was the back bottom ones on my left and right side or top I cant remember but its because they are growing into my teeth and will apparently push them outwards like towards the opening of my mouth slowly eventually. I just need to know if it would mess up my face or not getting them removed even though my face is mostly matured. Should I not touch them and test my luck?

Is it over no matter what I do about this situation?

My prof pic is me from about a year ago but my face hasn't changed much except I'm a bit heavier from going up in weight for wrestling 215 instead of 189

I had all four removed when I was 18, 20 now, no noticeable difference. I believe you only experience aesthetic alteration from bone absorption when you remove anything in front of your molars inclusively. My experience may be different from yours but I'd think the best option for you is to listen to the orthodontist, if your wisdom teeth are impacted then they will need to be removed before they cause permanent damage to the jaw.

I see thank you I was just skeptical from all the shade I see around getting teeth removed I just wanted to make sure I would likely be fine especially bc they are the very back ones and its only one on each side.
