yes, there's no difference between selfies and back camera on side pics (because lens distortion works relatively to center and on side pic all your face is on the same distance.

example -
Selfie:
nose: 300mm
jaw: 400mm
from the camera

Side:
Nose: 300mm
Jaw: 305mm

and so on

True I look truecel and extremely recessed on side pics with lens distortion on my Android phone.

It's because they use landscape mode that makes your face and ratios narrower and compressed

Once I had a candid taken from 6 meters+ and looked like I do in mirror everyday, not forward grown but Normie tier

Lens distortion on Android will make appear your lower third even smaller compared to your bigger cranium and middle third

On the other hand forward grown people won't suffer as much that's why the mogg could appear brutal on selfies when compared to Vinnie Hacker
