Does maxillary downgrafting affect the midface or not?

I have a long midface (long philtrum) but an overly short mandible/lower third. Horrendous chin to philtrum ratio. Also poor tooth show at rest. So I think I need downgrafting to make my lower third taller, but I dont want my middle third to become longer.

Long midface without having a downgrown jaw is crazy almost all midface cells are also downward growth cells
