Does sleep really matter in height?

I feel like the people glazing sleep when it comes to height are the same people saying you should eat well to get good skin, does it really matter that much cuz atleast from the people I see, sleeping more definitely doesn't correlate to height, and I'll be short anyway if I dont do anything drastic

I feel you, a lot of my tallest friends dont get good sleep
 
Dont listen to the retards here saying it does not matter.

I am 188cm and i sleep so much. Without sleep your body cannot reach its potential. But if you dont have the potential to begin with, no matter how much sleep you get you wll not grow taller than your genes allow. Also nutrition

It depends on ur genetic relations to sleep
Some bodys dont need that much sleep
Just to be safe get 8 hours. Height is so important

purely genetics, but ur natural body growth hormones produce most at 12-3 midnight, so scientifically u should be asleep at those 3 hours for best results ig jfl
