Does strengthening the front OR back of the neck fix forward head posture?

Common sense tells me it would be the back of the neck which would pull your neck back and fix forward head posture.

But I read on some physical therapist website that it’s the front of the neck (sternocleidomastoid) that fixes it.

Which one is it????
