I was watching one of the haircafe videos, and he mentioned how there's no such thing as "post-dutasteride-syndrome". There might be more truth to this than he thought. Finasteride's half-life is 7 hours, Dutasteride's is 44 days. Whenever you deal with hormones you want stability, with finasteride there will be much more of a "wave" like pattern of DHT levels over a day. While with dutasteride you ease into the blockage slowly.

This may be a seriously underrated trait, stable levels allow your body to adjust to the new normal.

Dutesta is simply the better drug anyway, why would anyone take finesta if Dutesta is just so much better

Also, supposedly it crosses brain blood barrier less due to relatively large molecular size.
And may have less risk mental side effects (brain fog, depression).
But it's also less selective for 5ar subtype
