Nowadays a phone is enough incentive to move to the big city. If parents are religious they’ll say they need to focus on college/uni and won’t be able to deal with the extra stress so they move out. White out for years 1-2. Then try to get out of the rut in the second half so they can be financially stable and stay in the city away from family supervision
