I didn't think even HTBs had it this bad as you rarely see a homeless women. But even Chads wont let them move in with them jfl.

Meanwhile I have tens of thousands saved, barely pay that much mortgage, own an apartment (at 30% down payment) right outside train station with 40 min commute to central London. So happy I didn't have to put myself through this humiliation. Alhamdullilah. I had like £40 to my bank account in 2018.

I come from a poor background btw. No way was I given money. My parents are benefit scroungers, split when teen so I was raised single parent and I was humiliated for being on free school dinners.

Nah it could've been very different.

I sent 100s of job applications, managed to rent very cheap due to contacts, got my main job now via a contact too. A lot of city jobs you blag your way. The people I work with aren't even high IQ jfl.

In central London as a short, brown guy with a north accent I'm actually an anomaly. Yet you take a 2 stop ride to tower hamlets and it's full of brown people doing shitty jobs. Racial discrimination in hiring is real but these shitty 'diversity inclusion' programmes only institutionalize further racism by hiring only the whitewashed ethnic.

It's getting better in UK tbh, but I'm 100% against hiring someone just because they're brown, black, or whatever. Even females for certain work industries exclude men (like engineering which is male dominated). That being ethnic you still face a tax despite these 'equalising' measures. It doesn't surprise me a private + oxbridge educated multimillionaire with a southern accent is prime minister of the country despite being a curry.

Regardless of what your hard skills are (like education, knowing a programming language), if you don't have these soft skills - like getting along with people, speaking a certain way, looking a certain way etc you'll find it harder.
