No way there are still users talking abt muhh "primal" muhh gluconeogenesis...COPE. Exogenous glucose intake will take stress off of your body, from not having to produce it endogenously. Every knowledgeable physiology preacher, popular examples being Aajonus and Peat, had exogenous sugar intake. But muhh goatis...goatis literally moved to a tropical environment for A/ to runaway from Europe I assume, and B/ to eat a shit ton of fruits aka sugar. In his old days of eatings, he literally drank a gallon of fruit juice a day. Not to mention in this day of age, we are so bacteria deficient, going low carb will fuck up your gut microbiome and lead to dysbiosis. Another thing that leads to dysbiosis is high protein intake due to protein being the HARDEST macronutrient to digest, especially if the protein is damaged during processes such as overcooking meat, which will end up rotting in your gut leading to many toxic byproducts due to fungi feasting on that junk and growing, leading to SIBO, most commonly from h-pylori overgrowth. This is important to note because on a "carnivore" style diet most people will be eating so much protein, due to not having access to fatty cuts of meat and the fat becoming solid and waxy once slaughtered + at room temperature, instead of being soft and warm like it would be when the animal is slaughtered, AND to get adequate glucose via the conversion of protein to glucose(gluconeogenesis). Another thing is your red blood cells which SOLEY rely on glucose (anaerobic glycolysis) for adequate function, and again...gluconeogenesis will just barely produce enough glucose for you to carry out this function, taken your eating allot of protein to produce the glucose needed, but it will always be inferior than exogenous glucose.

TLDR: Either way you look at it, it's sub-optimal. 99 percent of modern people should be getting an adequate amount of carbohydrates daily, or they will feel unsatiated, low energy, and the plethora of problems that come with that low carb intake. Stop blaming carbs, processed in modern senses with a laundry list of ingredients and chemicals, and start intaking single ingredient carbs that can easily be broken down into sugar and starch which feeds gut bacteria and keeps caloric energy high.

I was just free balling this...if a user did read this through, let me know if I missed something. I am planning on making a diet guide, which optimizes energy ( carb and fat intake + ratios ), micronutrients, and protein types ( which ones are less inflammatory ).

The only reason for that was faceiq, who literally switched as of recently to eating carbs. The carnivore cult has been around for a decade, but most people just laughed at them.
