I know a lot of u here think that facepulling is utter cope for adults but why did no orthodontist ever treat someone with bone anchored facepulling?
Tooth anchored facepulling mainly advances the lower maxilla with cw rotation so the aesthatic outcomes are minor in most cases
In monkeys the whole maxillary-zygomatic complex got advanced many mms in a few months
the monkeys were adults and this proves that maxillary protraction is possible in adult mammals
and this 6 year old simulation looks insane too where a potential 42- year old make would get ccw rotation of the whole maxilla which wouldn't even be possible with a lefort 3

Facepulling could give a similiar advancement to a lefort but it would look way more natural, less risky and much cheaper

Understanding the monkey experiments that inspired mewing - My Posture and Orthodontics Blog
Perhaps the aforementioned monkey experiments provide a very compelling argument for mewing. Namely that given proper stimulation facial bones can change even in adults. But, since those experiments were conducted by established academicians how come they never influenced mainstream...

The efficacy of maxillary protraction protocols with the micro-implant-assisted rapid palatal expander (MARPE) and the novel N2 mini-implant—a finite element study - Progress in Orthodontics
Background Maxillary protraction with the novel N2 mini-implant- and micro-implant-assisted rapid palatal expander (MARPE) can potentially provide significant skeletal effects without surgery, even in older patients where conventional facemask therapy has limited skeletal effects. However, the...
