Embolism during fat transfer is in general a documented thing, the effects will be different depending on which area, there are some women who have died while getting bbl's

Yes in all fairness I was worried about the risks when doing upper eyelid filler but it is extremely safe in a professionals hands.

Fat certainly has more risks, which is why I’d only go to someone who routinely does periorbital fat grafting - so an oculoplastic surgeon or maybe even this Thai clinic.

You can really only find out with imaging imo. Typically it's a combination of both skeletal deficiency and soft tissue loss. I wouldn't know how a surgeon does it, but PubMed studies for tear trough improvement typically will use 3D (VECTRA M3 3D Imaging System) and MRI analysis.

Doesn't matter if it fades away and has 40% fat survival or so because you can just do another session that will make up for the previous lost fat, all it matters is that it works, it is highly effective, and fat is a youthful and "beauty" feature aesthetic-wise
