Does Finasteride has effect on surgery ?

I went to an ortho today to have him correct my teeth for bimax. From the last failed consultation with a ortho I learned to keep the amount of info about my looksmaxxing to a minimum so I didn’t write down that I take finasteride to avoid questions.

should I write it down tho ?

you should mention everything though, they won't give a shit unless they're some antidepressants or similar (they started asking me questions about BDD lol)

Ya well. In my case they would probably immediately suggest bdd. That’s why I didn’t want to write it down. I don’t even have noticeable hairloss

Why would you think that finasteride affect your surgery? I don't see a correlation between the 2.

I mean it changes your hormonal profile. So it might change things like blood circulation and shit as well or has some effect on the drugs they put you on after the bimax. Maybe some don’t go well with finasteride you know?

I never wrote it down. having less dht circulating in your blood has no effect on anesthesia/surgery or whatever.
