Finasteride vs Dutasteride

was on both fin for 4-5 years kinda intermittent in the first year and then tried loading onto dut basically once a week while i was still using fin until 6 months where i went onto dut 3 times a week for 3 months and i honestly couldnt handle the sides PERSONALLY.

The general consensus is that dut is probably not saving you if you weren't at least able to maintain with fin and note that some people experience shedding switching like this dude got obliterated by dutasteride for some reason

Avodart tabs are like 60%-70% bio-available fasted. It can reach 80%-ish if consumed with some fat in a meal. Compounded formulations in olive oil are going to be pretty much the same. Effectively and physiologically immeasurable. You should note that lipophilic solubilisation is gonna be king. Dut's K_0w is roughly 5, so being pre-dissolved in any long-chain triglyceride (can be olive, MCT, mono-/di-glyceride) raises its intestinal lymph uptake about 30% vs. any old dry powder.
Thanks, this is very useful. I think I'll opt for compounded meds based on that information.
Not to mention, even if we took the differences between triglyceride vehicles as marginal or perhaps more, consistent usage of even a couple months effectively chases the same horizontal peak.
Right, medium term usage and we reach similar levels of DHT suppression, even without surfacants.
It's more cost efficient, as long as you trust the compounder, to run the olive oil formulations. You can do this stuff DIY for some fun, but you'll spend much more effort weighing, heating, and timing fat meals for like 10% less suppression.
Yes I don't want the bother or the risk of importing Dutasteride from dubious foreign suppliers without proper quality assurance.
Just skip it unless your budget is THAT tight. Worst case, go pick up some dropped fivers in Old Quad.
Old Quad isn't that cheap! Expect to hear from the moderators soon.

Definitely not. I was in fact implying that residents are so abundant in free cash that dropping £5 is insignificant to their care.

Hopefully my spot at Oxford is replaced by a Somali migrant. Diversity is Oxford’s strength.
