a high-intensity, low-volume routine focused on infrequent, full-body workouts that take muscles to failure

3x is probably better but we dont know for sure
Yes 3x a week can be optimal if you have 100% optimal lifestyle with very good recovery but for most lifters 3x a week per muscle group can be to much frequency if recovery is not optimized, or on hgh test etc

again, depends on your weekly volume and volume you do per session

Infrequent?

Do not go beyond failure, only close to, or right to the point, where you are unable to do a rep with proper form.

Progressive, high weight, low-volume, low reps, long set-pause, high frequency.

I only stop when i notice mild muscle discomfort and my form breaks

Yes, most people who only began their gym journey are unable to maintain a solid regimen to recover properly, so it would be optimal to give maximum stimulus and work out every 72 hours.
