I've been a member of this forum since 2020 (this is not my first account), and i agree with this sentiment, the site's discussions have been slowly becoming increasingly dull and empty over time.

The vast majority of the sane and intelligent posters have left this forum after they probably gathered what they needed and went on to live their lives, which is a shame, because i would love to read and engage in conversations with similar minded people regarding PSL, life, carreers, etc. I don't mean to imply that intellectually stimulating conversations are impossible to find, only that it is much harder now.

Quite sad, really. The only reason that makes me come back to this site from time to time is emotional attachment.

That's really why the forum is boring. It's no longer a niche part of the internet anymore, and inevitably will be watered down because of it going into the mainstream. This forum is just a reflection of it's most active users, and, quite frankly is now being used by a majority of teenagers, of which are the lowest common denominator one's at that (In terms of intelligence).

Any and every sub-culture, once it's reached a critical mass of people will always start to be watered down for a larger audience.
