I have a very low gonial angle and zero chin, but my bite is fine and my maxilla is forward enough that I've had one surgeon mention he could move it back to give the illusion of more chin projection (lmao)

The more I look at genio results the less I like them as they all have this awful stair step notch that looks retarded, and I need about 7-8mm downward movement to give me a 110 gonial and balanced lower face

I also don't want a stupid pointy mini chin either , and have some jowls from being a fat fuck powerlifter for years and losing a lot of weight

Dr. Yaremchuk is $200 for a consult, my question is can custom implants look legit or will they always risk that horrible Eppley Robert Zdar acromegly clown jaw look? And does all implant material cause bone absorption under the implant?

I'm about 12% bodyfat so any goofiness from an implant or surgery will be more obvious than with a fatty

Yaremchuck is more conservative and accepts less input from the patient compared to Eppley

Honestly? Unless your bite is fucked and maxilla is recessed, implants all the way. People here lust over genios, but no one really ascends from a genio. Plenty of people have ascended with jaw implants. It's just a matter of the design making sense with your face

Yaremchuk does genios as well, you could talk to him about both

My jaw is asymmetrical as well so an implant might fix that but a genio certainly can't

Fuck it, I wish he did free consultations but I get it. I'll see what he says

Did you make a post on Reddit the same day? I remember this same stupid question:

Bullshit, you're not actually looking at genio results. I've seen hundreds of genioplasty results, and I have not seen a single person whose chin looks like a lego sculpture because of the cut bone. What a jawline looks like in an xray =/= what the chin looks like IRL. Genioplasty almost invariably "looks natural". You're asking this question because you're too lazy to do even 2 minutes of your own research so you're asking a stupid question instead.

People here lust over genios, but no one really ascends from a genio.
If the question is a chin implant alone vs a genioplasty alone (which is the most common question, most people who look into chin implants aren't even thinking of mandibular angle modification), genioplasty wins easily.

My jaw is asymmetrical as well so an implant might fix that but a genio certainly can't

Genioplasty is a chin surgery. If your chin is asymmetric, a talented surgeon could improve or fix that with a genioplasty.

implants offer more control even if we are talking purely about chin procedures
cant change shape with a genio
cant widen etc...

Only with custom implants, which only a few surgeons offer.
