This is actually legit lifefuel for me if true. I thought it was $6-8k. Where can it be done by a good surgeon in the US for $4k at most? Sliding genio seems to be hit or miss. I’ve seen results that only improve the side profile slightly and do nothing to the front profile (and if you’re not even getting more apparent projection in the front it’s not even worth it) and then there’s ones that seem to tighten up the lower jaws, bring the chin noticeably forward, make the lips more in line with each other, give a little bit more lower third height, etc.

Nah. I’m legitimately going to get it between 6-12 months from now. I have a decent enough income and I’m motivated enough. I’ll be getting Invisalign first within the next few weeks. Then genio. Then save up for another year so I can get infraorbital/zygo implants (which from what I’ve read Taban seems to be the only answer for).

I just need to find a good surgeon for genio who’s not overpriced.

I got $10k in student loans my guy. I’ll finish paying most of that first (living at home over the next year to save money) and invest in Invisalign. Then genio is next. Being motivated doesn’t equate to making a stupid financial decision.

He only offers pre-made, off-the-shelf orbital rim implants (he doesn’t offer implants which augment the zygomatic bone) and also have heard that he doesn’t even use screw fixation. Have you consulted with him? I have not - this is just info I’ve gotten from another poster on here

Yes, do the consultation. If I was to get a surgery I’m willing to travel to the other side of the world if it meant great results. NEVER go to some random autist for any procedure on your face, period.

It’s not hard to see why someone wouldn’t want to just go to any given surgeon for a procedure that reconstructs a part of your face and costs thousands of dollars. Most surgeons have no idea what they’re doing when it comes to facial aesthetics.
