ive been on azelaic acid for a couple of weeks now, im not using prescribed or pharma grade I'm just using the one from the ordinary, my ance has gotten a whole lot better but I notice that I actually just have the ance, not a lot of redness anymore or uneven skin tone, should I use something that kills the ance like saylicic acid or is it all cope and I should use tret ? lmk

isotret if your skin is oily and acne is bad (it degrades collagen so you won't have glass skin but if acne is bad enough it is 100% worth)
tret if acne is mild, it will boost collagen by about 30% which is a substantial amount and the tret+azel combo is well studied for its glass-skin like results

If you only have blackheads use salicylic acid as it is much faster acting than tretinoin
But tretinoin gets rid of all types of acne and it boosts collagen, although it takes 12 weeks+ to see results

stick with tretinoin and up the concentration as your skin tolerates it
