Religion is the biggest cope and lie ever. We reassure ourself that there is an afterlife because we are scared of not existing and death. Some people can't live with that thought. I myself had panic attacks often when i was in a phase thinking about this. But it came to me that it isn't so bad. There is something beautiful with not existing, like sleeping as I said before, the feeling of letting go when you shut of the system for 8 hours is good. This leads to nihilism and other thinkings, nothing of this matters because we will die, but why not live when we are granted life. "If you find a book in a dark quiet room would you not read it?" a qoute I think about when I have nihilistic thoughts that there is no purpose.
