He poked around my face some for a few minutes and then recommended trans conjunctival blepharoplasty+fat transfer and would give me a little more cheek volume along with smooth out the troughs. I asked some about the meme eye surgeries that get mentioned around here to ascend and he pretty much said he's too scared to do them which I can understand I guess (I just wish they didn't mention them on their website then). Frankly you can just sit around doing fillers and face lifts for boomer women and make a killing, why bother risking the work on something as important as eye appearance on younger patients who still have their lives ahead of them? I'd be happy to get to the 0 of "normal" level and worry about reaching the +1 of "attractive" level later I suppose so I don't mind.
That said, would a trans conjunctival blepharoplasty even be worth the extra expense? I don't get why they can't get a result that is almost as good with just injecting fat rather than cutting open my face to pull down the tiny amount of fat there that isn't even going to result in me getting sexy eyes. I see before/after pictures online of just fat transfer and they often look pretty good. He's wanting $8000 for both and $5500 for just fat transfer. I also wouldn't want him purposely holding back on the fat so if I'm unhappy later he can simply say "I told you so, would you like to schedule the blepharoplasty now?" I mean this place has some of the most positive reviews listed everywhere in my state but I can't help but not trust people in the medical field. I'd easily drop $8000 to ascend but when it's just to correct a defect based on his recommendation I'm a little more hesitant.
Also jfl at all the women working in there glaring at me like I'm a subhuman that needs to go jump off a bridge when they're all post wall harpies that look like they pin their own fillers in the mirror before work and slather on half a pound of foundation after that.
