GTFIH Does Finasteride Prevent Facial Aging? (Prevent Fat Pad And Collagen Loss From DHT?)

This is one of the more interesting theories I've read on the forum. If DHT is partly responsible for fat pad loss and aging, then nuking it would make you age slower. This would be big, because then finasteride would not only preserve your hair, but also keep you looking young.

Theory: DHT is what causes the inner fat pads on the face to lose volume

There’s two fats on your face. The inner and outter the inner fat is what gives your face volume. Once that is gone the outter fat starts to slide down and sag off your face Now, if you look at any balding dude, 99.999% of them have nasalfolds and sagging skin(aka diminished inner fat pads)...

Look at this chart. Estrogen literally nose dives at age 23-24 24 is when most people start to lose there fat pads in the face causing outter fat to sag off of inner fat pad this could explain why eliminating DHT brings back fat pads for some because of the estrogen rise not only is estrogen...

Hair is a big part of facial age and it prevents you from losing hair.

That's true, hair loss affects the way everyone perceives your face. When someone has good hair, their face will be perceived as more youthful than someone with the identical face and hair loss

Honestly, it does make sense.
Very androgenic steroids in particular will age you tremendously.
But then again, oxandrolone makes your skin looks better, and it's a DHT derivate.

There was that one pic of those twins on lookism. One still had hair due to fin and the other lost it. It seems the guy with hair might've aged better?
