IM TIRED OF THE ORDINARY SERUM COPES...
these are two examples of people's progress after months
of using the ordinary's multi-peptide lash serum.
yup. you read that right.
fucking MONTHS
for results that can only be seen with
A FUCKING MAGNIFYING GLASS
so lets stop kidding ourselves
and make one thing clear
EYELASH SERUMS DO NOT DO FUCKING ANYTHING

lets all use latisse and ascend!!!!!!
WRONG

there is a MASSIVE issue that eventually
becomes clear to every eyemaxxer:
EVERYTHING THAT ACTUALLY WORKS
HAS MORE DRAWBACKS THAN BENEFITS
let me elaborate...
and that, my friends, is why everyone ends up
coping with the ordinary lash peptide serum...

BUT I REFUSE TO GIVE UP
BECAUSE MY EYES ARE FUCKING BALD

i will not waste time coping with reddit serums!!!
i need RESULTS
and the only way to get them
is with latisse and oral minoxidil
but i know that using them might make
my eyes worse than what i started with
so then what THE FUCK AM i supposed to do
the only option is to find a way to use
latisse and minoxidil AND avoid their side effects

THE PLAN
this is my devised eyelash and eyebrow protocol:
- latanoprost over my eyelashes, with vaseline applied to my surrounding eye area (every other day)
- a finger dip of raw minoxidil powder, dissolved under my tongue (every other day)
- topical minoxidil rubbed over my eyebrows (daily)
- 20mg furosemide which i will take no more than three times per week (minimize usage)
and these are my reasons for choosing each of these approaches specifically:

"dont forget eyebrow transplants"
i apologize forum OG,
and i pay my respect
but hear me out...
eyebrows and eyelashes might be the ONLY time
a softmax yields better results than a hardmax
eyebrow transplants usually produce very ugly results
this happens because the texture of the hair from wherever the surgeon
extracts it is usually very different than the thin texture of the eyebrows.
three examples i complied
sources: 1 2 3
compare those results to an
org user using latisse and oral minoxidil
*note that he dyed his eyebrows as well.
there is a clear winner!

latisse and other prostaglandins cause irreversible fat loss wherever they are applied
latisse can even make your eye color darker, as well as your surrounding skin
to be fair though, thick eyelashes seem much
more important than eye color for aesthetics
so darkening the iris for better eyelashes might be worth it
for someone whos eyelashes are nonexistent

oral minoxidil causes brutal water retention
people say this is only true at higher doses, but countless online
anecdotes show that people experience bloating even on small doses
this study says that a 40 year old woman experienced edema on a dosage of just 0.25mg
the FDA guidelines for Loniten even REQUIRE doctors to prescribe diuretics alongside oral minoxidil because water retention is something that is just expected
*it is sometimes also prescribed with beta blockers like propranolol, but that is unnecessary for cosmetic dosages
but the worst drawback of minoxidil is that
your hair becomes dependent on it after enough use
you must use it FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE or your hair will fall out
https://scholars.duke.edu/publication/753654
a lot of people claim that post-minoxidil shedding only happens to
hair grown by minoxidil, but read this piece of information from the study...
"four out of ten men had nonvellous hair counts off topical minoxidil that fell below baseline levels"
almost half of the men who quit minoxidil after four months
lost more hair than what they started with
suffice it to say that quitting minoxidil causes hair loss
if you still dont believe it, simply look up "i quit minoxidil"
on any hair loss forum or subreddits like tressless

at what point could you quit minoxidil without inducing hair loss?
the study above said hair loss occured in men who stopped minoxidil after 4 months
chatgpt says it would take around 6 months to a year for your hair to become dependent on minoxidil
it says "for new/maintained hair to remain" because thats the popular consensus.
but remember, like the study above shows, minoxidil can create a dependence on baseline hairs too.
if it were me, i would only quit minoxidil if usage was less than 4 months.
do you have to use minoxidil every day for the rest of your life?
ive read anecdotes of people maintaining their minoxidil gains by
simply using it every other day, instead of every day or even twice per day.
i believe this to be legit
we can see from this study that the effects of oral minoxidil can last up to 3 days in the body
so users trying to maintain should be okay only using it several times per week

topical minoxidil will not create any major falios for users,
BUT it is also the least effective of the three
unlike latisse and oral minoxidil, topical minoxidil can not
resurrect a hairless eye area on it own
significant ascensions usually happen when
it is used alongside oral minoxidil or latisse
also, topical minoxidil can NOT be used on the eyelashes
from personal experience, doing so will irritate your
eyes to the point that consistency becomes impossible
and just like oral minoxidil, you must use it forever
this is not a very big deal when it is only used on
the eye area, since application is not tedious at all
but, as a sidenote, i would advise everyone AGAINST USING TOPICAL MINOXIDIL ON THEIR SCALP
because THAT is something which will become incredibly annoying

this is my devised eyelash and eyebrow protocol:

- a finger dip of raw minoxidil powder, dissolved under my tongue (every other day)
- topical minoxidil rubbed over my eyebrows (daily)
- 20mg furosemide which i will take no more than three times per week (minimize usage)
and these are my reasons for choosing each of these approaches specifically:
why i am using latanoprost instead of latisse
1. latanoprost is ALSO clinically proven to grow the eyelash hair
proof
this isn't groundbreaking information
we know that all prostaglandins are able to induce hairgrowth
latisse is just the strongest one
but latanoprost is still very effective at doing this
latanoprost significantly induces eyelash growth compared to placebo.
but there is an even more important reason i am making this decision...
2. latanoprost mogs latisse in terms of side effects
we only hear so much about latisse because it is the
most effective prostaglandin at inducing hair growth
but it is also the most irritating prostaglandin
and also the most likely to cause preorbital fat loss
and also the most likely to cause hyperpigmentation
and it does NOT do these things by a small margin
this study found that the frequency of latisse inducing
preorbital fat loss was 93 fucking percent
compare that to latanoprost, which had a frequency
of only 41 percent
additionally, latisse caused a deepening of the eyes
at a frequency of 80%, vs latanoprost at only 15%
but despite the differences in their side effects
latanoprost is still very effective at growing out eyelash hair
look at these before and after results from the study i linked
for the first image, look at the difference in density at the rim of the eyelid
those look pretty good to me
especially considering the lack of apparent fat loss
or deepening of the eyes
compare those to results of bimatoprost usage
sources: pic1 pic2
you can see from the first picture that latisse deepened the eyelids
and from the second picture, you can see the brutal preorbital fat loss
as you would imagine from the study,
latisse definitely appears to have a greater
impact on eyelash growth than latanoprost.
but what is also apparent is the MASSIVE
difference in their side effect profiles
the side effects of latisse are so bad that
it is hard to even call the after pictures better.
they grew their eyelashes, sure, but their eyes look worse.
why i am using vaseline and applying MWF only
1. basically just because of this thread not gonna lie
just to be on the safe side
im pretty sure that if i do all those extra steps AND use latanoprost,
im in the clear as far as side effects go.

why i will be using raw minoxidil powder
1. it perfectly solves the issue of lifelong commitment
a single purchase of the raw powder can give someone
anywhere between 25-100 grams worth of minoxidil
100 grams of minoxidil is 40,000 units of 2.5 milligrams
that is enough to last a person
EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR 100 YEARS
perfect! now I never have to worry about running out!
2. it makes consumption effortless
the raw powder form allows for a unique method of consumption:
dipping your pinky into the bag and licking off the powder
that is important for three reasons:
1. it makes consumption effortless. this is important because
I need to ensure that long term usage is not a burden whatsoever
2. it allows me to consume doses way below 2.5 milligrams.
allowing me to find a perfect sweet spot between a dose that
bloats me and a dose that actually works.
3. it is easily dissolved under the tongue. see this thread to learn
why that is helpful for reducing side effects and maximizing results
i plan to just throw the powder into a big jar and keep it on my counter
because opening and closing those little ziplock bags gets frustrating too
maximum effortlessness
why i will be taking oral minoxidil every other day only
1. minoxidil every other day is legit.
contrary to popular belief, minoxidil does not have to be taken every single day
people believe you must dose it daily because the half life of oral minoxidil is only 6 hours
but we can see from this study that the actual function of minoxidil lasts up to three days
so this is my logic:
by skipping days, I'm leaving windows open for fluid to excrete,
making it harder for water to build up than if i were dosing every single day
theoretically i should be able to do this and still reap the benefits to my eye area
especially since i will be applying topical minoxidil once daily
and even if this dosing proves too small, i can always scoop some more powder

theres nothing special about my topical minoxidil plan.
im mainly using it to increase the amount of time that minoxidil is on my eye area.
there are basically no side effects to worry about,
so there doesn't need to be any elaborate planning.
maybe its worth it to say my method of administration
is outside of the box
im going to be pouring the liquid into a 1ml spray bottle
instead of keeping it in the package it comes in
some shit like this
im doing this to make the application as easy as possible
i want to be able to just push a button and be good to go
with the dropper, you have to fucking unscrew the top, you squeeze the liquid in, squeeze the liquid out, screw it in again, blah blah blah blah.
thats too many steps.
this could technically also be solved by using the foam version, but to me it just looks hideous
and everything needs to look good cuz my bedroom is aesthetic and shit
i have no other reason to not use it
i just fucking hate the design
it looks like shaving cream you buy at the gas station

i will be using furosemide in my protocol in order to offset any potential bloat caused by oral minoxidil
i will not take more the 40mg per week
ideally i will be taking 0mg per week
such small dosing should still be effective as i wouldnt be experiencing much water retention anyway from taking minoxidil the way i intend
i’ve seen people asking if you’re able to take diuretics to combat the water retention from minoxidil…
and the answer is YES! it is actually STANDARD for doctors to prescribe diuretics alongside oral minoxidil. look this up anywhere.
as a matter of fact, even the FDA guidelines for Loniten instruct doctors to do this
it reccomends either HCTZ at 50mg daily or Furosemide at 40mg daily
but I will be using furosemide at an even smaller dosage (60mg weekly) to be on the safe side
i recommend low dose furosemide to anyone using oral minoxidil for their hair
i know that many of you are scared of furosemide
but truth be told, it is actually the most commonly prescribed and most mild loop diuretic
it’s cousins, torsemide and bumetanide are 2x and 40x stronger, respectively
it takes 2x less torsemide and 40x less bumetanide to produce a similar effect as furosemide
the reason furosemide is called dangerous is because of its history on this forum
its usage in looksmaxxing was popularized by pneumo. it was this thread that started it all: https://looksmax.org/threads/a-guide-to-taking-furosemide-the-hollow-cheek-pill.1058772/
that retard instructed people to use 120-300 milligrams without drinking any water or using any electrolytes
but using furosemide like that is FUCKING STUPID. seriously. not to mention it makes you look worse
complete dehydration will NOT give you the hollow cheeks you’re thinking of
but let me be clear and say furosemide CAN be used safely with small dosages and proper electrolyte balancing
i will use it as a tool, ONLY if i notice significant water retention
in that case i will dose 20mg, and i will make sure to do that no more than three times per week
i will make sure to be taking electrolytes and drinking enough water, but honestly i already do that, so i should be good regardless
i will not take more the 40mg per week
ideally i will be taking 0mg per week
