i will explain these in short in here so i can explain aging and fatloss in fat pads . from my trailer i have this
Superficial : The facial fat pads are separated by fibrous septa, thin walls of connective tissue. This separation is important for each fat pad’s function and appearance.

Reason 1. Going to really low bf % so going to 10 to 12 % is ideal for looksmaxing but going below that causes you to lose some important facial fat pads too

Aging so at the 1st part you know that with age your body loses stem cell which is important to replicate and maintain tissue or fat tissue with age you lose this and this will cause to lose your fat pads and in the second will be losing collagen as your body loses collagen as you age the fibrous walls (septa) that enclose fat cells and keep them tightly tightly compartmentalized breaks down and the fat pad sags down
