I have diffuse balding
No bald spots but thin areas on crown and very small hairs on hairline
Do u think if I took 0.5mg Dut a day along with minoxidil 5% 2x a day for a year I could return to a Norwood 2.5???
that’s my goal as it looks normal irl unless u have really short hair.

yes, my question is why dutasteride over finasteride? whydu want to nuke 100% of ur dht

You wont have a clue until you try, temples are hard to recover, mid scalp and crown is much easier, also if a part is slick bald or been bald for over 3 years the chances of recovering that part is close to 0. You can hop on 0.5mg dut and 5mg minoxidil and if you are a normal-good responder you could get fenomenal hair, possibly only a HT for temples then you have a full head of hair

I’ve only noticed hair loss the last 12-14 months. None of it is slick bald it’s diffuse thinning but extreme. But yeah my temples r fucked I have only small hairs there but it could be somewhat redeemable ie I could see minor regrowth to the point it just looks mature and not recessed asf

the only time you are fully fucked is when the follicle is fully dead/slick bald area. Smaller hairs are fine. 2.5mg oral Dut and RU topical both daily and you’ll recover given enough time. Androgen deprivation is so that’s needed. Minox will speed up the process but isn’t necessary at all and I advocate against minox, especially oral.

I’ve used Munoz 5% 2x a day for 1 year and it has done NOTHING. So yeah agreed
Isn’t 2.5mg dut a lot?
and is RU in pill form? I didn’t know. What can I expect from RU. What are its properties and side effects.
