Surely going through Giant can't be the only way to ascend.

You don't even get a message back. The waiting list is too long; you're looking at at least two years.

Are there any alternatives to working with Giant? I mean couldn't you go to the surgeon directly or an alternative person who designs implants?

Maybe I exaggerated two year wait time, but that wasn't the point I was trying to make

It's more than just the waiting period

GiantImplants is high risk/high reward and, as talented as he is, things don't go as utterly successfully as often as his media presence and manner of self-presentation may pass off. I would like to go over the pros and cons of working with him as opposed to an inhouse designer from someone like Dr. Pagnoni or Ramieri.

If you want the best implant possible, GiantImplants is the way to go. You can get, say, a great infraorbital-malar implant with him. Keep in mind for most it takes 2-3 tries with each try being 12-15k USD. Once you have an implant with a canny contour, most patients need fat grafts to smooth out the bony contour and a midface lift to orient your subcutaneous tissues properly around the implant. This is because his implants tend to recontour your bone instead of augmenting the existing contour, which is typically necessary to get a better result, but makes it more likely for soft tissue to not resolve properly. Doing these procedures with a skilled soft tissue surgeon who knows how to work with implants will cost around 8-15k. Also keep in mind a large portion of grafted fat tends to die after placing it, so you will need repeat sessions that can cost around 4k each. Altogether, you are looking at 50-70k USD. Moreover, the whole process would take around 4-5 years, since you will have to wait 3-6 months to get into contact with him, and then wait 10-12 months after your first implant before most surgeons that Giant works with are willing to reoperate and do a replacement implant and then possibly 10-12 months after that for another one, and 10-12 more if you need a third. Once the final implant is in place, you will need to wait around 6 months before you can get the facelift and fat grafts (depends on your facelift surgeon and advice of your maxillofacial surgeon). You will then want to account for the swelling from the facelift, which can last several months more. Also account for a few more months if you need more fat graft sessions. The bloat from the implant installation and the facelift will take a long time before it fully resolves. After a facelift you will not look normal for a couple months and you will not see any substantial angularity from the implant (if it is to give you any at all, depends on many factors) until at least 8 months or so after it was installed. All in all, let's say 5-6 years. You also have to account for the level of psychological distress this process might induce in you. Also note that the more surgeries you have the greater risk of permanent nerve damage. Moreover, when fat grafts and midface lifts are necessary to resolve soft tissue sequelae resulting from infraorbital-malar implants, your implant will reveal itself once more when you begin aging with your facial fat sagging and lowering in volume: there is long-term upkeep involved. But when it's all said and done, you can rest assured you'll have some mogger cheekbones because when he hits home runs he hits home runs!!!! seeing that bomb ass ogee curve after several years is chef's kiss.!!💋

You can alternatively get an conservative, acceptable if not great implant with an inhouse designer from, say, one of the aforementioned surgeons. This will cost you 12-15k. Many such people need to get fat grafts as well, for which any good soft tissue surgeon will do, and will cost around 5-10k USD depending on how many visits you need. This process will likely be more like 1-2 years if you remain conservative.

So there you have it. You have to decide how much time and money you're willing to invest and how big an aesthetic gain you want from your surgery.

Ive heard this from another person aswell. I thought implants would fix it once and for all. Do you know who had infras done and had to do revision/fat grafts?

idk man bimax and trimax are pretty invasive. if you don't need lefort 1, then i would probably consider sarpe and genioplasty. i'm still greycel tho

"Literally doesn't mean anything,"... It doesn't? You speak with a lot of conviction.

What he's saying isn't necessarily outlandish at all. Yes, everyone doesn't need soft tissue work after implants, but it certainly isn't uncommon for the most optimal results, depending on the overall movements of course. Giant has mentioned this multiple times. And his timeline estimates aren't necessarily inaccurate either. Though, yes, they can be shorter. I believe he was speaking generally for the most part, so it's not all meant to be taken for gospel.

And yes, you can get soft tissue work at the same time as implants. I'm not sure if Giant recommends that or not. But some people would rather wait for soft tissue work because it isn't always predictable how the soft tissue will change exactly with implants and/or lefort movements.
