Have any of you got pubic hair ingrowns after shaving or trimming down there

I got an ingrown hair and it's left a red mark for one and a half months that has not responded to a dozen different creams. It hasn't gone away and I'm worried it might stay for a year or forever.

It is stubborn and I am considering going to get pulse dye laser to remove the red scar. I can't have it here too long or escorts might see it and think it's herpes.
