I'm 15 and don't have a bad face card. My mom cooks only healthy food and every morning I eat 2 eggs, every day I eat a granny smith apple, and I eat protein bars + generally nutritional food for lunch. I ask my mom if I can work out since I'm skinny fat but have crazy insertions (which I assume since my dad was crazy in his prime?). I want to start working out in my apartments gym (which doesn't even have a barbell). Mom says yes, but won't even let me count macros/calories of the food she makes.

wtf am i supposed to do?? am i supposed to wait until college to actually work out because im getting cucked by my parents??

im trying to but she wont even tell me how much of a certain ingredient shes putting in, the whole point of this post is to ask how tf im supposed to explain to her the necessity for it
 
1. 2 eggs is way too little bump that up to about 6 2. Protein bars arent actually a healthy snack

cook your own food and wtf do your parents have to know about you looksmaxing just do it and dont tell them everything, they just will tell you some cope bs

Counting calories isn't that necessary if you're just starting out. Any amount of gym, regardless of your macros will benefit you greatly. If you notice your gains plateauing, just eat bigger portions of whatever your mum is cooking. Get seconds at school lunch. I did that a lot back in the day.

Just approximate it. Whatever dish she prepares, just search it on cronometer. Surely it isnt accurate, but even approximations work tbh. All you need to know is what and how much youre eating, not every single ingredient.
