My mom wont let me go to the dermatologist
I have so clogged pores on my chin very much on my forehead and some pimples and redness ive been struggelin for 1 year tried everything and nothing helps what can i do she says its „normal for teens“ like wtf bro its not i got it randomly when she put me on skincare bru

Tbh valid reactin like wtf i dont understand only thing holding me back rn is my skin abit and tbh my eyebrows i dont understand what her problem is i ask to go to the derm and she is saying no but others in my age do all kinda shit like bro

dont overuse actives, keep face clean dont touch your face. if your moms forcing you to do skincare act like you do but dont(ex, just apply moisturizer and then spend the rest of the time taking a shit or sm) if you wanna try skipping on it for a while.

Nah she not forcing me i didnt use skincare for some weeks like 2-3minths ago my skin cleared up besides the clogged pores now i just use azelaic acid a 2% refiner and a vitamin c serum with salicyl acif and niacinimide i just dont know if i should use my spf every day its good but idk if it broke me out

bro keep your spf does wonders over time(change brand if youre worried about your specific one). how old are u tho, cause if you're just entering puberty and its not cystic acne they might have a point

my mom was the same she refused to take me to a derm and even more against me getting a laser treatment for my severe acne scarring. wasn't until i got to uni where i could do whatever and did more research that i fixed my skin and btw i still have never seen a derm and the one laser treatment i got didnt do shit.

if ur parents like that its better to be settling it asap in terms of like how they perceive you as personality. they gotta respect your wishes and u particularly what is needed for a human being to be formed is to be heard and understanded. if ur parents arent ready to provide you support for simple stuff like medicine when they have the ability to then u need to riot

only thing u need for active acne and clogged pores is accutane or a topical AA nothing else will work at the problems root cause. you can get a whole years worth of both online extremely easily and for less than one visit to the derm. and if his parents say they believe its normal theres no way they are going to let him take some rx pills for his acne so its useless

Im 16 i dont have cystic acne i have some pimples on my cheeks and chin like on my face like 5 total and sum pimple scars but many clogged pores that look so bad its so textured

ye ik i founds some topicals from my mom 2 types of different creams i searched them up both need prescription and she doesnt even use them there not for my skin type but still just bring me there
