Current result:
Been hardmaxxing pretty heavily over the last couple months and figured I’d finally make a proper high-effort thread documenting everything instead of posting random updates.
I started because I felt like my individual features weren’t terrible, but my overall facial harmony was being held back by a few specific things: flatter midface/paranasal area, weaker chin projection, and my old nose.
The goal was never to completely change my face. I wanted to keep myself recognizable while improving projection, facial balance, and overall harmony.
1. RHINOPLASTY — KOREA — JULY 2026
This was the biggest operation.
What I had done:
- Silicone bridge/radix augmentation
- Ear cartilage for the nasal tip
- Osteotomy
- Alar reduction
Main issues I wanted to address were my relatively flatter bridge, nose width, tip definition/projection, and how the nose fit with the rest of my face.
The surgery itself was around 5 hours.
Unfortunately, about a week afterward I had an actual complication. At cast removal they found internal bleeding/a hematoma. They tried treating the clot first, but I started bleeding heavily and had to go back into surgery.
Surgeon found a bleeding vessel, coagulated it, and resplinted everything.
So my rhinoplasty recovery basically got reset once already.
Despite that, everything stabilized afterward and I've just been letting it heal.
I'm still only around two months out, so obviously the nose isn't at the true final result yet. Tip swelling especially takes forever.
2. CHIN IMPLANT — AUGUST 2026
This was probably one of the most important harmony changes.
Before surgery I kept going back and forth between:
- Sliding genioplasty
- Chin implant
I originally thought genioplasty would automatically be superior because bone movement sounds more "legit," but my surgeon thought my issue didn't require that much intervention.
I mainly needed anterior projection, so we went with a silicone chin implant.
Incision was underneath the chin.
The goal wasn't to create some gigantic giga-chin. I wanted the chin to properly balance the nose/lower third without looking operated on.
This is one of those procedures where the change isn't necessarily crazy when you stare directly at the chin, but it changes how the entire profile reads.
IMO my lower third looks much more proportionate now.
Still healing from this too.
3. MIDFACE / PARANASAL RENUVA
This was probably the most niche thing I did.
One of the things that bothered me most before surgerymaxxing was the area beside the nose.
My paranasal area/midface looked relatively hollow, which made my nasolabial folds look stronger and gave the appearance of a flatter midface.
I looked into basically everything:
- Paranasal implants
- Fat grafting
- HA filler
- Renuva
I was heavily considering paranasal implants at one point.
My surgeon basically told me that putting permanent implants there would be overkill for what I actually needed.
So I went the soft-tissue route.
I had Renuva placed in the midface/paranasal region, followed by another treatment more directly targeting the nasolabial/paranasal area.
The idea is subtle augmentation rather than creating obvious filler cheeks.
I didn't want the stereotypical bloated midface look.
The goal was just to reduce the hollow transition beside the nose and make the center of the face look more supported.
Renuva also changes over time, so I'm still waiting to see where the final volume settles.
CURRENT STACK
Rhinoplasty:

Chin implant:

Midface/paranasal Renuva:

Perm/hairmaxxing:

Skinmaxxing: ongoing
At this point I've addressed basically every structural issue that I personally considered worth surgically touching.
I'm trying to avoid falling into the trap of continuously finding microscopic flaws and getting unnecessary procedures.
WHAT ACTUALLY CHANGED?
The biggest difference to me isn't one individual feature.
It's the relationship between everything.
Before, my nose/midface/chin didn't feel like they belonged to the same facial plane.
After:
Nose projection ↑
Chin projection ↑
Paranasal support ↑
Midface transition improved
Profile balance improved
Overall facial harmony improved
That's the biggest lesson I've gotten from surgerymaxxing.
Fixing one random feature isn't always the answer.
Sometimes the biggest ascension comes from getting multiple facial thirds to actually work together.
