So I was pretty sure for a while now that facial muscles had a large impact on eye shape from people with facial palsy and the association with sclera show, but I essentially found solid proof that muscles have a massive impact on eye verticality

A Botox injection was done to atrophy the orbicularis oculi muscle (muscle that gives you aeglyo sal when you squinch) and just notice how much his eye change, muscles may be more important than orbital compactness/forward growth for eye verticality

View attachment 347743

This is literally fuckig insane, his PFH increased by 30% after his orbicularis oculi was paralyzed, notice how much angularity and straightness his lower lid loses after it atrophied, not to mention this also brings the upper eyelid down (not as much) which will give you more hunter/almond shaped eyes

All you need to do to hypertrophy this muscle is squinching -

To build the muscle I recommend squinching relatively hard for 30 minutes 2x a day, after the muscle is built you can lower it a lot to maintain muscle mass

If this thread doesn’t get pinned jfl...

Literally a free lower lid retraction from Taban by squinching, no this will not help with negative vector though

was always confused why my lower lid wasn’t straight considering I have forward growth orbitals/positive vector but it’s obvious now since I rotted in the basement never seeing sunlight more than 30 mins a week

more proof-

people who have this muscle paralyzed get an ectropian which is the drooping of the lower lid

This is legit a good thread

I dont recommend squinching hard tho,
wrinkles gonna come

just squinch 24/7 when outside
thats enough

Have you noticed changes in your eye area when you aren’t actively squinching?

possible eye lines and maybe UEE is less prominent nautral, more often eyes are hooded naturally

and about the lower eyelid and scleral show ?
rather nothing changed and remember i ve been doing it for like 2 years regurarly
tho it doesnt matter

ONLY because of my eyes I got inanse validation in those 2 years+stopped being kissless

because i did have the same : while squinching for a while and applying vaseline, my eyes looks more hooded or less UEE on average but not really less scleral show.

so just by squinching you became not kissless ? i bet it became natural for you IRL.

Will this fix my negative canthal tilt as well. Do you need to hold the squinch for 30
Min straight or swuinxh, relax the swuinch and repeat for 30 min? Basically like a rep in the gym?

Won’t fix NCT, no breaks is best for maximum stress on muscle since there already isn’t very much

This is a really good sign building the muscle had an affect on resting tone, just read this
F00F19E5 596A 4432 9B34 8958909E601D

When you use the squinch muscle it lowers the brow (increasing hooding/reducing UEE) and if you had a change in that aspect at rest you probably also had a tightening of the lower to some degree

Do you think at rest your UEE/hooding as gotten better?

So just swuinch and hold that position for 30 minutes?

Ok this theory is officially proven
needs a pin asap, this exercise can give the equivalent of a lower lid retraction by Taban
Overtreatment weakens the lower eyelid and drops the resting position of the lower eyelid.

referring to botox- weakening the muscles too much lowers resting position, by logical deduction is weakening the muscle lowers position, training to it to make stronger will increase the position of the lower lid

@Lorsss @jefferson @Aesthetic

So just swuinch and hold that position for 30 minutes?
im doing alot more than that like 2 hours but that should be sufficient for growth if you do it for a while

I've actually been doing this for a while- had the same theory about the muscles controlling the eye aesthetics. I can defo confirm that after ~6 months it's become really natural to do, actually feels odd when I actively relax my eyes.

I have been thinking
Wouldn't people living in areas with a lot of sun have better lower eyelids then?
Like do the average Australian have better under eyelids than the average German (if all other things are equal)

@retard is squinting because of sun equally as effective as squinting on purpose?

sun squinting is a combo of the zygomatic major, levator labii, and orbicularis oculi but the most important muscle by far is the orbicularis oculi and thats done by just regular squint/squinching

If you build the muscle up enough it will build the resting tone to a point where it looks like you are squinching 24/7, he would have a much larger aeyglo sal if he was actively squinching in the before
but that means you have to keep on training the muscle in order to keep the size

but that means you have to keep on training the muscle in order to keep the size
ye, it’s 10x easier to maintain muscle after it’s built though

Hey can you make a post on how to work these muscles?
you just have to squinch, none of our ancestors did eye exercises jfl

if you try to use your hands to pull the eyes downward like he’s talking about you are just going to stretch the canthal tendons out faster which causes sclera show as you age

wouldn't this make you look more chinkish

So basically squint

ive been doing my own eye excercises a week or two after i made this account and fixed my eyebags and my eyes are smaller and not as dead looking now
