I have wide hips and waist but unlike regular framecels I also have wide shoulders. Shoulders are wider than my hips but my hips are definitively above average in width by itself. This physique is common among strongman, heavyweight boxers, wrestlers and powerlifters
I remember reading somewhere that
wider pelvic structure often means a more stable base for squats, deadlifts, and pressing movements. It also typically comes with a lower center of gravity and better glute leverage, which helps with strength output so wide hips are a mechanical advantage. Iβve also seen a few users on bodybuilding forum saying that average or a bit above average wide hips are better than narrow hips because it looks masculine while a narrow waist and hips looks twinky. Seems like cope to me because the ideal physique I've seen online is the V taper physique with narrow asf hips and very wide shoulder like Seid. What do you guys think?
