How do I build my skincare routine?

I have the basic cerave face wash and thats about it. My knowledge is severely lacking and I would like to start improving my skincare but just don't know where to start. What products do I get? What brands are the best to look for? What do they even do? I don't really have a budget but would prefer to keep the cost low. I've heard that there are products that help with smile lines, eye bags, wrinkles etc. and I'm for sure interested in those aside from basic cleansing and moisturizing.

For anything always assess yourself first. In this case, assess what your skin type is. Is your skin oily or is it dry (your skin before any product)? From there you can proceed with the specific brands and specific type of cleanser/moisturizer to use.

There is no magical brand that will fix your skin, they are all the same shit but in a different font. You probably don't need isotret (if you do use it make sure it is max 30mg), but if you aren't a pizza face opt for tretinoin 0.1% or taz if you really want.

If you chose taz just do cleanser/taz/moisturize in the morning and at night.
