How do you decorate your room?

I'm planning on reorganizing and cleaning up my room to look better--it's just a mess atp, I might going to buy some posters and my parents offered to buy me a different dresser as well given that the closet is sagging all of my clothes, so I'm probably going to go with something cherry wood. Do you guys have room aesthetics with posters and that kind of thing or nah? Might invest in some over the summer.
