How do you genuinely lose weight as a teen

I’ve seen so many ways contradict each other so I’m asking genuinely how do I lose fat at 15. I’m around 18% bf and I want to lose it but I also don’t want to stunt growth. I know calorie deficit is the way to go but I also what to get enough nutrients to max out my growth. How should I go about losing fat so I don’t fuck up my body?

Reta and deficit. It doesn’t really matter how many calories you get in as long as you get proper micronutrients. (I grew from 5’10 to 5’11 in a 1k cal deficit)

Calories dont stunt your growth in any meaningful effect, I have cut before at 1000 kcals when I was 13 and im still growing just fine (past my Parent's thresholds, before anyone says "muh couldve been taller :feelsuhh:)

Exactly. What you do have to be weary of is the quality of food you are eating. If you eat 1600 calories of just McDonald’s, you will be deficient in micronutrients. Opposed to if you ate higher quality foods with high protein. (I eat 200g of protein for example)

Tirzapetide + T3 for safest fatloss (Reta isn't all that, its effects on GLP1 is minimal).

15000+ Steps, 2g protein per lb of body weight, Enough Fat's to recover hormonally, and hit the gym if it wasn't obvious.

Walking / Running daily. 10k-12k steps a day minimum will help with that. Also, a good diet comes into play with weight loss a lot.

-Find your calorie Maintenance
-Subtract 300
- Eat that until your satisfied
(Side Note: Make sure your eating well while in the decifit)
