most don’t realize that insertions is what makes you look good. some of my friends are on steroids, who are shorter than me but weight like 20lbs more, yet I still mog.

This is called Michelangelo's David Maxxing and it is absolutely fantastic. I'm doing it until I get keratin treatment tbh (wanna try more straight/wavy hairstyles). If your curls are tighter than this, I'd suggest looking into loosening methods. However, if your hair is actually coily, it might be hard to achieve without some sort of chemical treatment. Also consider that this hairstyle might not suit black people as well as it does whites/white passing people.

I remember some user saying that MSM made his hair go from 4a to 3a, so maybe try that too.

Edit: Just saw that you said your hair is naturally wavy/curly.

I'm guessing what's keeping you from looking like this is probably dryness and frizz. In that case, use leave-in conditioner, don't wash your hair that often, and maybe try using a bit of argan oil on the ends.

It looks very good imo, only thing I don't dig is the coloring. Maybe ideally the curls would be a bit looser, for my taste, but it's close to the statue of David's hair, which is pretty much unmoggable.
