How does palatal expansion affect IPD (Inter-pupillary distance)

Would expansion on a narrow palate but with an already narrow-ish IPD make the IPD look worse in proportion?
Or would it be balanced out proportionately by surgical CCW, which I could get done with expansion?

No, IPD cant really be changed, like at all.
