I used to eat a lot of snacks and junk food even when I wasn’t hungry. It didn’t really affect my weight, but I also had acne issues at the time.
At some point I decided to change my diet and started eating mostly whole foods like red meat, chicken, eggs, and dairy, olive oil. I also include honey when I want something sweet, i was getting a spoon of honey and my cravings for something sweet would go away.
Over time, something changed: I stopped craving junk food almost completely. I don’t really see it as “food” anymore the same way I used to, and most of it honestly looks unappealing now.
It’s been months since my last junk food meal.
I’m not saying this is a solution for everyone, but in my case, changing what I eat made cravings much easier to control. I don’t see it as food anymore so i don’t even think about it.
