How important is Sleep?

How important is 8-9h sleep?. Im 15.7 yo and only sleep around 6-7h a day (usually from 23 or 00 to 6:30) and i wanted to know how impotent it is to sleep long for puberty especially height growth.

literally first or second most important (not including genetics)

it mostly depends on how good of sleeping ur getting for example. good 6h sleep>8-9 hour mid sleep

Dude trust me you will regret it when you are like past 19-20 if you don’t get at least 8hr sleep which means 9hours in bed. Make sure the room is dark (you can use eye mask), at a cool temparature and quiet (you can use earplugs).

But seriously get as much sleep as you can along with sun and a good diet

tbh its very important.
I myself noticed worlds in the quantity of differences, when I decided to sleep longer.
do it.
Its also very important for the production of your hormones, while not being the only factor, but being a big factor.
