I put on glasses (any glasses), closed one eye then while looking at my eye in a mirror straight ahead, marked my pupil on the glass with dry erase. Repeat for the other eye, then measure on the glasses with a ruler.
It worked well, I've ordered glasses online and they were a perfect fit
NB. I don't wear glasses, I had laser surgery done to remove 6 diopters some years ago but I've regained about 1, so I'm fixing it like this, it's working.
