How to avoid the self hate and focus on ascending?

Genuine question: ever since I have started looksmaxxing, even though my looks and life has improved, I started having genuine mental health issues. For example, I probably look at myself in the mirror for 30 times a day and weigh myself daily. Just wondering, did u guys have similar issues? how should I avoid this body dysmorphia and perfectionism aspect of looksmaxxing? How to keep having a good mental health?
 
it's because you identify yourself with your own body. Try to see it more like a video game character. You try to improve it but if there are any flaws you don't stress about it.

So see looksmaxxing more as a tool instead of your identity / personality.

YEAH But I dont wanna do SSRIs and I have been doing therapy and its not working what should I do?
