How to find a orthodontist that’s good or a BP orthodontist? 😏

So I have a overbite and crocket teeth I was just gonna get that but I decided to look around for some orthodontist maybe I get surgery or those special braces

I heard expand and protract is the best

Be aware I’m not too familiar with this topic so don’t bash me just asking for help

Should I just look for places that has 5.0 stars up ?

You think there’s a faster way I have a lot of places near me that is five stars or near five.

if you want an expander, look for airway specific orthodontists, especially ones with "airway" or something like that in the name. some regular orthos that offer "airway solutions" or "sleep apnea solutions" don't give bone-borne expanders, and the ones that do are unlikely to give it unless you have horrible overcrowding and narrowness. always read the reviews, and ask to see the before and after x-rays of expansion. find out their protocol for marpe treatment, like if they put patients into homeoblock first, require myo and tongue tie release first, etc., because shit's expensive and you may not need or want all of it. for just braces alone, opt for self-ligating. always get a second opinion

I might not need an expander and I don’t want lie because if I don’t really need it I don’t want look like pac man . Possibly just normal braces just scared if they pull me back also believe there some braces or type of appliances where it’s metal tubes it’s like forever braces that might sound dumb
