how to fix and improve hair

ive been growing my hair out for a while, the biggest problem i have is how dry my hair gets. no matter how often i condition. i like my hair when it looks wet and would like it to stay that way throughout the day

i use shampoo 1-2 times per week, im not sure any good leave ins to use and how often to apply it. my hair also gets frizzy, its naturally wavy and very thick
