How to improve sleep when having late nights

I am trying to improve my sleep. I usually go to bed around 11 and sleep by 12-1. I am waking up very early around 5-630 in the morning even though I am trying to sleep in. I recently moved into an apartment with very big windows that let in a lot of light. I got blackout curtains on one of the windows but not the other. I take 5 mg melatonin every night. I am waking up every morning feeling tired what can I do?
 
Stop taking melatonin
